Welcome to the Village Herb Farm Website.

The Village Herb Farm is a small herb farm situated in the hills above Cairns in Far North Queensland. Our property is nestled between two rainforest gullies and lies in the rainforest belt that extends along the Range above Cairns.  We are 35 km from the city of Cairns, and a short walk from the tourist village of Kuranda.

We are members of the Kuranda Chamber of Commerce, Willing Workers On Organic Farms (WWOOF) and CREDC.

Our herbs are grown predominantly in hydroponics, with small quantities grown conventionally in the ground.  The herbs we grow include: Basil, Bay Leaves, Chervil, Chives, Garlic Chives, Coriander, Curry Leaf, Dill, Kaffir Lime Leaf, Lemongrass, Lemon Myrtle, Lemon Thyme, Marjoram, Mint, Oregano, Parsley (curly), Parsley (continental), Rocket, Rosemary, Sage, Sorrel, Tarragon, Thyme, Vietnam Mint and Watercress.

We grow only culinary herbs, which we harvest, and pack for the major supermarkets. Our supply area reaches from Mackay in the south, Weipa in the north and Mt Isa to the west.

We employ local workers, and we support the WWOOF scheme.

We are committed to supplying North Queensland consumers with safe, fresh, high quality produce.
